For years I used a Passporter as a travel organizer. Then Passporter went oI out of print and I wanted to cry.
I understand people liking to keep everything on their cell phones. Unfortunately, I'm not one of them.
I don't like having to look through 20 screens to find what I'm looking for and it always seems the darned thing needs recharging at the most inopportune times.
So I decided to make my own Passporter Travel Organizer.
I bought a 6"x9" zippered 3 ring binder like the one below.

I drew up Passporter page templates on my computer and printed those pages out on white card stock, then 3 hole punched them to fit in the binder.

I made up enough pages to cover a 7 day trip, one sheet for each day of the trip.
Everything I needed was on those pages:
-
An itinerary section by hour of the day
-
A space to write the attractions I'd visit that day
-
A Notes section
-
A space to record memories of that day
-
A space to record photos taken and notes about them
-
A section to record that day's meals and their cost
-
A section to keep track of that day's expenses so I stayed on budget
-
A section to record notes for a future trip to the same destination
I then bought pocket pages, one for each day of the trip and inserted those behind each Passporter page. In them I could store maps, attractions reservations, receipts, coupons, etc.
My organizer is lightweight so I can just toss it in my travel backpack and I'm set for the day, with everything I need for that day's travel at my fingertips.
When I return from my trip I simply remove the pages, rubberband the together and I have everything I need if I decide to travel to the same destination again.
And the best part is my travel organizer never needs recharging and doesn't irradiate my brain.
