The Moore Brothers
This was one of the hardest Illuminati cases I worked, emotionally speaking.
To this day I'm not sure how Roberta Moore, the boys mother found me to enlist my help in working this investigation with private investigator, Dale Miller. (An alias)

Author Kathryn Jewel wrote a book about the case called Brothers Silenced. Unfortunately, she wrote it as kind of a vendetta against the boys mother, when she and Roberta Moore got into a pissing match with each other. Not that I blame Jewel one bit on that front, having dealt with Roberta Moore for four very lonnnnnnnng years.

To put it simply, Roberta Moore was batshit crazy like a fox.

I worked with the private investigator called "Dale Miller" in the book. Jewel did contact me for an interview but since it was Dale's case I felt I was bound by confidentiality.

I was very surprised to see a couple of true crime videos now appear on this little known case...but they only tell the story from Roberta's standpoint of (in her mind) an "innocent victim". Nothing could be further from the truth. I'll tell you the REAL story of this case!

Below is the video that was the closest to being factual.
Please take the time to watch it as I'll be referring to the information contained in it in this article.
[Note: In the video above, I was the female officer working with the private investigator. I could not remove the
spent shell from the rifle as stated in the video, despite trying for several minutes.]
Very comprehensive! Worth listening to!
A documentary by Andrew Kohl...
Background

John Moore was the father of Robert and Ben.
Dale and I never got the chance to speak with John Moore, he refused to speak with us - or anyone else for that matter.

John was a self employed logger, which didn't provide more than a marginal living for the family, Roberta claiming they lived on welfare most of the time.
By accounts of people who knew him, John always had a scowl on his face and there were allegations he was physically abusive with his family. He kept the family isolated and to themselves.
If there was anything notable about John it was how brainwashed he was via the Jehovah Witness religion. He hated anyone who wasn't a Jehovah's Witness - to the point of once aiming a gun at one of
Roberta's sisters who'd left the Jehovah Witnesses. Nor was he above bribing his own children to attend Kingdom Hall - namely Robert and Ben with a motorcycle. At the time I thought Odd, the family's on welfare but he can afford to buy a motorcycle?

John did force his family to work in the woods with him cutting trees, even very young Robert and Ben. John was told by the county he was not to take the boys into the woods using chainsaws doing such dangerous work.
This didn't sit well with John as reported. He pulled the boys from working in the woods only temporarily, then returned them to working in the woods, chainsaws in hand.
According to Roberta (later verified by her sister) John would force Roberta to help him cut wood immediately after giving birth to their youngest child, Lisa - even forcing Roberta to bundle up newborn Lisa and take her into the woods in the dead of winter for hours at a time.

John Moore was anything but a likeable guy.

Roberta Moore was the boys' mother.
Let's put it this way...she lost more than a few shingles off the roof in the last wind storm. Nor was she the innocent victim she portrayed herself to be to everyone she met!

It didn't take long for Dale and I to discover not only was Roberta a pathological liar but she spent the entire four years trying to steer our investigation in the direction she wanted it to go - a vendetta against John for killing her favorite child, Ben. Not to mention a vendetta against the Jehovah's Witnesses.
Mind you, she went on this vendetta many years after the boys were killed and she was every bit as involved in their deaths as John was.

What was striking about Roberta was her complete lack of emotion and monotone way of speaking. This was an emotionally detached woman for certain. She also fancied herself a detective (in her own delusional mind) and absolutely loved being in the limelight and the center of attention as long as she was seen as the pitied victim, the poor mother whose sons had been murdered.

I got the distinct impression her children were merely pawns in a game to her. I also initially felt Roberta would most definitely be capable of violence.

Ron was the Moore's eldest son. He'd been in and out of jail mostly on drug charges at the time I met him.
I couldn't stand being in his presence. Literally.
I'd discover why when Roberta accidentally sent me an email that was meant for Ron.
This email referred to what I'd picked up psychically, Roberta saying to Ron "She has it almost right but not quite!"
Roberta then instructed Ron to dispose of evidence related to Robert's and Ben's deaths, that Ron supposedly had stored in his barn. Very shortly after I received an email that Ron tore his barn down. Leveled it to the ground. Dale and I realized we likely had one of the two shooters in our sights.

Ron was one of the creepiest guys I ever met.

John Jr. was the Moore's second eldest son. In the middle of the night on his 18th birthday John snuck out of the house and hightailed it to Florida, never being in contact with his family since.
Smart move on his part.

Robert was 13 years old when he was killed.
Robert and I communicated after his death and for the duration of our investigation so he and I formed a close bond with one another.
He was angry about what had been done to them, more so to Ben as he acted as Ben's protector when the boys were still alive and he took that role very seriously.
I found him to be very forthright in answering my questions.

I almost had to chuckle when in typical teenage fashion he blew a gasket over Roberta having gone through his backpack after his death, shouting "THAT WAS MY PERSONAL STUFF!"
So typical teenager. But that was the only time I heard/saw him angry. Robert was pretty mellow, at least with me. I found him to be intelligent and extremely helpful in any way he could, although his loathing for Roberta was very evident. I still often think of him to this day.

Ben Moore (or "Benihana" as he asked me to call him) always appeared with Robert but seldom said anything.
I could tell he was afraid to say anything, especially against Roberta so I never pushed him.
He too was intelligent and a cutie one couldn't help but love. I have a feeling that in life he could be quite the character when he wanted to be and had generally been a pretty cheerful, humorous kid.
Lisa Moore was John and Roberta's youngest and the only girl in the family. My impression of Lisa was that she was very much like her father - surly. I never once saw her smile and she was very uncommunicative and standoffish. She was as emotionally flat as Roberta herself was.

Lisa was the only one of the Moore children to form a relationship with John, only because she went to Kingdom Hall with him. She didn't appear to have any emotional connection to Roberta at all. So I wasn't surprised when it surfaced she'd written in her diary that she wanted to shoot and kill Roberta. That scared me given how dysfunctional the Moore family was and that her brother Ron had participated in killing his own brothers.
The Case
I apologize I don't have the original crime scene photos, autopsy reports, etc. to show you. When I moved to my new house I decided I wasn't going to move anything unnecessary. It had been years since I'd worked the Moore case or even looked at the files so tossed them out, seeing no further need for them.

The boys were found on a gravel recreational trail in the town of Ogema. I made several visits to the trail, both alone and with Roberta.

There are actually 2 trails, an upper trail and a lower trail. The boys and their beat up car they drove around the Moore property were found on the lower trail.
Lower trail where the boys and their car were found

The boys car
On either side of this trail are dense woods with a steep embankment leading down into a gully. To get to the upper trail, one must climb a steep wooded embankment up the other side of the trail.

As stated in the first video, when the car was examined, the driver's seat was pushed back all the way so there's no way either Robert of Ben could have reached the pedals.
John Moore was a short man but Ron Moore was on the tall side so it had to have been Ron that positioned the car.
Both boys had been shot in the head, Robert on the left side of his head which made no sense, given Robert was right handed and supposedly had used an old Remington .22 rifle to shoot himself.

Covering the left rear hatch window was a copious amount of blood spatter indicating Ben had been shot in the head at the rear of the car. The only correction I made to the photo below was to enhance the contrast so you can more clearly see the copious amount of blood spatter that was on the rear left window of the car.

Blood spatter on the rear window of the boys car
I made a diagram showing the positioning of the bodies as they were found at the tailgate of the car. The boys were not foot-to-foot as described in the video.

Robert's head was facing the entrance to the trail. The bottom portion of his legs and feet were underneath the car that could only have happened if Ron had backed the car up that far.
Ben was facing the opposite direction with the Remington rifle placed between his legs. There's a few problems with the position of the rifle. If Ben had shot himself, the gun would have fallen to the side and further away from his body. It would not have landed squarely between his legs. Secondly, Ben's arms were not long enough to reach the trigger in order to have shot himself with a rifle.

Furthermore, this old gun jammed after every shot, the casing lodging in the chamber. I could not pry the spent casing out after about 10 minutes of trying to. It took Dale 6 minutes to pry the spent shell casing out using a pliers. The only implement found in the boys' car was a butter knife, which could not have been used to pry the casing out. Nor would Ben have been able to pry that casing out...and he would have had to be able to in order to shoot himself, as the older and stronger Robert was already dead.
Furthermore, John Moore claimed he didn't even have bullets for that rifle. Casings were found at the scene but they were .22 longs and that rifle took .22 shorts. Therefore, a different gun or guns had been used to shoot the boys.

In the crime scene photos, both waistbands of the boys' underwear were clearly visible with the waistands of their jeans at least 2" or more below the waistbands of their underwear - indicating the bodies had been dragged into position behind the car to stage the scene. This positioning of their waistbands had been noted in their autopsy reports as well.

Neil, the first EMT on the scene himself stated the scene looked staged. It most certainly was, and very sloppily by an amateur.

On the crime scene video I also pointed out to Dale that blowflies were on and around Ben's body, indicating his time of death couldn't possibly have been what John and Roberta were claiming. Within minutes of death blowflies begin to accumulate around a corpse, meaning Ben was not yet dead when John reportedly took Roberta to the trail after he found the boys bodies. . This was confirmed by responding EMT's who stated Ben's face still had color in it and he was still warm to the touch.

John Moore himself said that when he found the boys Ben was still gurgling, indicating Ben was still alive. Yet Roberta told me that when she and John went to the trail together, she heard a gunshot. Her story on that subject changed several times indicating deception but I do believe there was a gunshot. That of John Moore finishing the "still gurgling" Ben off rather than doing what any normal parent would do - phone 911 to try to save his son's life.
That Ben was still alive was confirmed by responding EMT's who stated Ben's face still had color in it and he was still warm to the touch. Ben had died just minutes before the EMT's arrived.

Roberta also said that she alone followed the car tire tracks to the trail. The car would have been visible from the trail entrance. Any normal mother would crawl on their hands and knees over that gravel to get to her missing children, having seen the car. But no...Roberta turns around and drives the over minutes home to get John, leaving the boys on the trail. Nor is this consistent with Roberta's personality. In her delusional state she fancied herself an ace detective. She would not have turned around and driven back home if for no other reason than that. She would've been flying down that trail, especially given the fact that her favorite child, Ben was down there.

She wouldn't have cared if Robert died. During all of the years I worked the case she rarely even mentioned Robert's name. It was as though in her mind he'd never existed. She never even remotely showed me any kind of sign that she'd ever loved Robert.

Most telling was speaking with Roberta's father, Cy Paul. He said Roberta had been at his house that morning when John called to tell Roberta the boys were missing - but that she hadn't been acting as she normally did. She was extremely antsy, constantly looking at the clock until John phoned. In Cy Paul's opinion she knew what was going on and he believed John killed the boys and walked the 10 minutes home through the woods. Pretty damning statement coming from one's own father!

Then there was John's very peculiar behavior after law enforcement arrived on the scene on the trail.
He merely hung out with the assembled crowd that had gathered, never telling anyone he was the boys father. When cops began clearing the trail of lookie loo's, John simply walked away with the rest of the crowd, still not revealing he was the boys father. Ron also returned to the trail but got belligerent with the cops that they weren't allowing him near the car. It's not uncommon for a criminal to return to the scene of his crime if for no other reason than to gauge what's going on with the investigation.

That the investigation was deliberately botched by the Price Co. Sheriff's Department was immediately glaringly evident. We found only one honest cop that would tell us what actually happened the day of the boys' murder - Mike Roberts, who'd been a deputy at the time and the only one within the Price Co. SO that had any training whatsoever in working homicides.

Sheriff Heitkamper hindered him at every turn. The crime scene wasn't immediately cordoned off to preserve evidence. Roberts wasn't allowed by Heitkamper to collect John's and Roberta's clothes they'd been wearing that day until 5 pm that night, giving them plenty of time to shower and change clothes. Nor was he allowed to test them for GSR (gun shot residue) until 5 pm. Nor was Ron tested for GSR, nor were the hands and clothes of Robert and Ben tested for GSR as they should have been, being their deaths were being ruled a suicide. Roberta and John should've immediately been separated before they were questioned, they were given hours together to get their story straight. Roberts didn't believe the boys had committed suicide any more than Dale and I did.
Noted on the autopsy report were cuts, scrapes, bruises on both boys legs and dirt under their fingernails the ME couldn't explain.

Robert showed me what happened. The boys were being pursued by their father and brother Ron, who were both carrying guns. Realizing their intent, Robert shouted "RUN BEN!" The boys slid down the steep. heavily wooded embankment on the side of the trail into the wooded gully and then clawed their way up the opposite steep, heavily wooded embankment in an attempt to reach the high trail. Going through the trees and foliage on those steep embankments caused the scratches, cuts and bruising on their legs. Clawing their way up the opposite embankment was how they got dirt under their fingernails and their clothes dirty. The men caught Robert but Ben escaped. This accounted for the approximately 2 hours between their deaths, while John and Ron Moore hunted down Ben. Because Ben had witnessed all of this, he was a threat that had to be eliminated even though that wasn't a part of the original plan.

Robert had not only been being sexually abused by his parents and a Jehovah Witness church elder, he was at the age where he was no longer all that desirable to them. They were going to start in on Ben but being Ben's protector, Robert wasn't about to let that happen. Robert had also witnessed his father doing a drug deal out of the trunk of his car. (This would explain how John could afford to bribe the boys with a motorcycle). Robert was now a threat that had to be eliminated.

When the boys were found Robert was still wearing his clothes from the day before. Ben had changed his clothes and was dressing for school. In spite of the cold, rainy weather that morning, both boys were found without jackets, socks or shoes on. Robert explained the morning they were killed, he'd seen the face of the Jehovah Witness elder that had been sexually abusing him appear at their bedroom window.
Robert had stayed up all night in an attempt to protect Ben, which was why he was still in his clothes from the day before. When he saw the Jehovah Witness elder's face at the window, the two of them took off running to escape, not taking time to put on jackets, shoes or socks.

If there was one thing Dale and I determined very quickly was that the Price County Sheriff's Dept. and Sheriff Heitkemper were up to their wazoos in their cover up of the Moore murders as a suicide. The coroner was in on it as well. This is typical in an Illuminati cover up.

Even by that time there were glaring inconsistencies the Sheriff's Dept. most certainly should have questioned. They didn't. Heitkemper and the coroner ruled the deaths a suicide and matter closed.
Four days after their deaths the Moores had the boys cremated. I don't believe for one second Roberta didn't sign the paperwork to cremate the boys as she claimed. At that point she was still completely subservient to John and would do whatever he ordered her to do. Bear in mind that during those four days the boys bodies were being shipped back and forth for autopsy, to Ramsey, to and from the funeral home, etc. The Moores had their sons cremated as fast as they possibly could and I doubt anyone forged Roberta's signature on anything. Including the cremation paperwork.

As stated in the first video two other bodies were found on that same trail and ruled suicides. But I found 7 suspicious deaths in the area in as many years, all of them ruled suicides. As is sometimes the case in small towns, rumors abounded of satanic activity in the area.
In addition, Dale found a drug trafficking ring operating out of the District Attorney's Office. Again, nothing unusual in an Illuminati case, drug trafficking being the major source of the Illuminati's income.

Author Kathryn Jewel took a cheap shot at the psychics Roberta had dragged into the case, stating it was us that had brought (quote) "the ridiculous notion" that satanism was involved in the case. It wasn't us that introduced that aspect into the case, it was Roberta herself in attempting to steer our investigation.

When Roberta realized Dale and I believed Roberta herself had played a significant role in the boys deaths, she began bombarding me with photos of dilapidated shacks and other Ogema wooded areas, telling me they were satanic ritual sites. Had I psychically seen any of those satanic ritual sites? When I kept saying no, Roberta then began sending me photos of a plastic baby doll that was marked up and mutilated, claiming this doll had been used in area satanic rituals. (I've never seen a mutilated marked up plastic baby doll used in any satanic ritual.) Roberta couldn't explain to me just how she was in possession of a doll supposedly used in satanic rituals. No surprise there.

The closer Roberta knew Dale and I were to nailing her participation in the boys deaths, the more derailed and delusional her thinking and actions became.
This is when Roberta really went off the rails, claiming the boys had committed suicide because they hated school. Just the opposite was true according to the people we spoke to at the boys school. This wasn't hard to imagine being true given it meant they didn't have to be in the woods with the abusive John, cutting down trees all day.
At one point I opened my email to find one from Roberta asking if I wanted to see a photo of her recently departed dad, Cy Paul. There was an attachment to the email and when I opened it I found myself looking a photo of the DEAD CY PAUL LYING IN HIS OPEN CASKET!

Then Roberta read Greg Meisner's case. Greg had been at the same Ramsey Medical Center Robert and Ben's bodies had been at. Meisner's mother had had her son's body exhumed and the medical examiner at the time found some of his body organs missing and that his body had been stuffed with kitty litter. Yes, the Illuminati run a black market body organs operation. But much like Roberta's very questionable interpretation of Robert's and Ben's "Jehovah Witness" drawings, certainly if this had been done to Greg Meisner it had been done to Robert and Ben as well. This even though there was absolutely no evidence this had been the case and couldn't have happened given the boys had been cremated. There weren't any bodies to be stuffed with kitty litter but that didn't deter Roberta's delusional thinking any. If it had been done to Greg Meisner, it had been done to Robert and Ben too and that was that as far as Roberta was concerned!
Roberta was losing any grip on sanity she might have once had - if any. If there was an absurd tangent for Roberta to go off on, she went off on it no matter how ridiculous and irrational - like the fact that she never signed off on the Sheriff's Dept. getting the boys car out of their impound lot after it had been sitting there for a full decade. To claim the Sheriff's Dept. switched the cars with a duplicate of Ben's car was beyond ridiculous! There's no way anyone could have accurately duplicated that wreck of a graffiti spray painted car and why would they bother after it had been sitting there for a full decade and had already been examined by numerous parties?!!

Unfortunately, working cold cases is extremely difficult. Witnesses have forgotten what happened, moved away or died. The topography of the crime scene itself changes over the years. Evidence was either deliberately destroyed, disappeared or lost its value for testing over time. There's not a whole lot to work with much less make a cold case prosecutable in court, especially when a police cover up had been involved.

Dale and I did our best in our investigation but there just wasn't enough evidence, proof or prosecutable material to bring charges against John, Roberta and Ron Moore. I felt bad for Robert and Ben...but Robert assured me they understood and knew we'd done our very best with what we'd had to work with.

I still think of the boys to this day and wonder what their lives would have been like had they lived. They'd likely be married with families of their own now. But I also know their deaths provided them an escape from a horrific life no child should have to live.

John Moore passed away in 2021.

Ron continued to live in Ogema with his wife, Rose.

John Jr. remained in Florida, estranged from his family.
Lisa went on to graduate high school and I hope she got the psychological help she needed to live her life happily.
The corrupt element within the Price County Sheriff's Dept. were removed or quit and reports were the department was cleaned up.

Mike Roberts retired and still resided in Ogema as did EMT Neil Holmes.

As for Roberta?
When the investigation ended she seemingly disappeared into thin air, removing everything she'd posted on the Internet re: Robert's and Ben's deaths in the process - a whole lot of fingers of accusation pointing in her direction. She was angry with both Dale and I for having figured out her role in Robert's and Ben's deaths.
Her second husband, John divorced her.
Roberta passed away on March 4, 2017.
